The Wireless Attacks (PEN-210) Course introduces learners to the skills needed to audit and secure wireless devices and is a foundational course alongside PEN-200 and benefits those who would like to gain more skills in network security. Learners will identify vulnerabilities in 802.11 networks and execute organized techniques and those who complete the course and pass the exam will earn the OffSec Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification.

As part of my LearnONE subscription with OffSec for my Advanced Web Attacks and exploitation (WEB-300) course, I took up the challenge to also give the OffSec Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification a shot. The certification process provided me with invaluable insights and knowledge in the realm of hacking Wireless Access Points. This was especially beneficial as I established my own personal lab to create my own WEP, WPA2-Personal and WPA2-Enterprise WiFi Network for learning and penetration testing. Through the building of my own lab, the comprehensive setup experience helped me to solidify my understanding of the WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal, and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise encryptions in wireless networks. I have also acquired great insights on the vulnerabilities existing in the WPA/WPA2-Enterprise encryptions as well as how these vulnerabilities can be exploited to gain internal access in real-world environments.
